We’re counting down to the Eurodad International Conference 2019!
The conference is fast approaching and staff and organisers are in full swing finishing off the final preparations. We wanted to share with you why we are looking forward to this event!
We are incredibly fortunate to have some highly valued and skilled industry experts attending our conference this year, who will be holding talks, facilitating workshops and taking part in panels. You can find a full list of speakers on the conference website.
We’re excited to be able to share with you our final agenda, packed full of exciting workshops, panels and discussions. You can see a full version of the agenda ahead of the conference here.
A glance at some of our panels and workshops
The opening panel, including a video message from UN Special Rapporteur on Extreme Poverty and Human Rights, Philip Alston, will analyse the state of the global economic system and look at how we can create change in 2019 and beyond.
Creating change in a changing context: here we will explore successful instances of development finance advocacy and other movements for change reinforcing each other and what more can be done.
Workshops that touch upon lessons learnt from advocacy and movement strengthening, strategies for change, and many more! Topics to be discussed range from tax justice, to debt crises, and from the private turn in aid to climate finance. But that’s not all, please consult our agenda for the full details and objectives of our conference.
Are you prepared to help us with this year’s stunt?
For our stunt this year we need as many attendees as possible to join us and participate in our ‘Great Debt Workout.’ We would like to ask you to bring some comfy, colourful or sport clothing to the conference. More details will be revealed at the conference, but for now we’ll say that sweatbands will be provided…
We would love to see your photos and your experience at the conference. To join in, use the hashtags #EconomicJustice4All, #EurodadIC19 and #DevelopmentFinance.
